David is a Barrister and Solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand, a Solicitor of Supreme Court of N.S.W. Australia and has practiced law as a Barrister and Solicitor in New Zealand for over 30 years. He is experienced in many areas of law including business and commercial, conveyancing and property, litigation, personal law, mediation, trusts, relationship property and immigration. He has acted for many businesses, individuals, trusts, and organisations throughout Wellington, New Zealand and Overseas. He is a Registered and Foundation member of the NZ Trustee Association and member of the NZLS Property Law Section.
Prior to graduating in Law, David obtained a Bachelor of Science in mathematics, including computer science and engineering and worked in the Computer industry as a contract programmer and analyst. David continues to maintain an interest in computing and technology. David enjoys sailing, computer programming and other technology and is married with 4 children.

Don is qualified in both Law and Accounting. Don initially gained several years’ specialist tax experience in the Inland Revenue Service, where he worked in Rulings (now The Office of Tax Counsel) and in Tax Policy. After joining the private sector in 2000 Don worked in two major law firms as a specialist tax consultant before joining Becker & Co Ltd where he now practices as a generalist litigator as well as a tax consultant.
He has advised on the tax implications of a wide range of transactions – from major cross-border financing structures down to local property transactions and GST issues. He handles the firm’s general tax advice, any tax disputes, and negotiates arrangements for taxpayers in temporary difficulty. Additionally he now undertakes a broad range of other legal work, including body corporate and cross lease issues, employment, relationship property, trust and elder law issues, and disputes and civil litigation of all kinds.
In his spare time Don is a keen violinist and fisherman.

Nina is a Barrister and Solicitor and a member of the Property Law Section of the New Zealand Law Society. She holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts majoring in English and Philosophy from Victoria University of Wellington. Nina advises across our practice areas but particularly on property law, immigration, relationship property, trusts and estate planning matters. She is dog lover (particularly of her border collie "Star"), an excellent cook and has a strong interest in travel.

Tracey has been working as a personal assistant and office manager for Becker & Co since 1995. Prior to working for Becker & Co Tracey had worked for 5 years as Receptionist and Legal Secretary. Tracey is often the first point of contact and as Office Manager / Legal PA handles most office duties including trust accounting, accounts payable and PA to the Director.
Tracey lives in the Wairarapa with her partner and 2 children.
